"Film is a disease. When it infects your bloodstream it takes over as the number one hormone. It bosses the enzymes, directs the pineal gland, plays Iago to your psyche. As with heroin, the antidote to Film is more Film." - Frank Capra

These gotta be getting easier

WARNING: spoilers below
speaking as someone who had not seen the movie or the trailers for the movie, the first screen cap had me trying to go through every famous, grimy 70s movie/early 80s movie I haven't seen that I could think of. Weirdly, their autocomplete indicates Dog Day Afternoon, Death Wish, and Dirty Harry aren't in their list of movies. Weirdly in comparison, just as a contemplation and desperation, apparently Ms. 45 is.

First guess, maybe the katana was related to the hand, so I went with Batman Begins. Then looked to see if The Last Samurai was an option, it wasn't. So, with the second image being the map of an island, it became guessing giant monster movies from the past 10-ish years. I went with Godzilla vs Kong first (I've only seen the first Godzilla reboot movie from this recent sequence of movies, so there was only so much I could do educated guesses on).

it felt like with both this one and the Eyes Wide Shut one, the first image is more easy to place out of the blue than the second image.

Oh wow, it's been 20 years since I've seen this one, and I clearly didn't remember anything from it. (Even with answer, the only scene ringing a bell was the third one.
Though I guess the final scene is coming back to me a bit, but maybe it's just due to how the image was looking on my tablet, but the person looking through the crack looked like they was a young high school student.

1. Borgman
2. Children of Men
3. Calvary
4. Hunger
5. Loving Vincent
6. I don't know

I could see someone not guessing it on the first image, but the rest... they could have used at least somewhat less obvious scenes.
