I find it very grim and atmospheric, sometimes it does feel like a normal 80s thriller rather than a bond film,well it did end up with revenge for the loss of felix lighter
How come a lot of Bond fans do not like Licence to Kill?
Overall though, maybe the world has moved past classic Bond and more toward a gritty Jason Bourne style of portrayal. 10% less superhero-y and 10% darker?
