A few days a go the world lost a great Muay Thai champion.
Ramon Deckers died early at 43, while riding his bicycle.
He will always be remembered as the first foreigner to win Muay Thai Fighter Of The Year in Thailand (1992) and as a true ambassador of the sport.
R.I.P. Ramon Dekkers!

did not know about this - heard of him thru a friend, im a big crocop fan, and i know the dutch are the best in kickboxing, my friend even went to train in thailand for a while

Wow, was just about to post about this last one post

Man was a LEGEND. One of the few 'farangs' to fight top level competition in Muay Thai...and win. Such a shame. I'm confused as to what the cause was, though. Reports say he was feeling light-headed and then crashed or something???
