Why do new remasters of classics have to add a yellow tint now?

I've noticed with new blu ray releases movies now, they will add a yellow tint, or at least with Blade Runner, Terminator 2, and now The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly I recently saw again in a newer release. But why change the tint, I don't understand...

First, and I mean the very first hit on a google search shows an already lengthy conversation on this very topic over at blu-ray.com.

Google "yellow tint to bluray rerelease"

Okay thanks. I looked up that blu ray article now, thanks. But in it, the best reason they seem to come up with is that it's the choice of the colorists. But since those movies have already been colored back when they were made, and it was the artistic choice of the filmmakers, why do they have to be re-colored again now, at all therefore?
