Legitimate Movie Download sites

I am looking for a legitimate movie download site with depth. That is it should have old films as well as new. I have looked around a little but I am leery of getting ripped off or downloading trojans and viruses. Besides a certain depth to its library, I would prefer one where I don't have to download any software and if I do it must be Mac compatible.

Can anyone help me out?
