Heroine follows her man alone into the desert wearing high heels

Hi, I think the title says it all!

I was convinced the film was called Sahara, but a title search on Wikipedia does not seem to come up with the answer. It is an English-language film that probably dates back to the 1950s or so. I unfortunately can remember nothing more about the movie.

Edit: I should add that this is the final scene of the film. I think the man was marching off with his military company.
