This list was very very good but I was a little disappointed that they picked Big Chris from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels rather than Bullet Tooth Tony from Snatch. He is a much tougher character. To be honest he is almost the same character. I think he does the same stuff in Snatch along with other bad ass moves and he does it with more attitude. Who is your favorite tough guy?

Clarence Boddiker from "RoboCop". "Sign here", says the desk sergeant and he spits a bloody loogie on the paperwork.

Viggo Mortensen's Joey Cusack/Tom Stall in A History Of Violence . Mainly because his brutality and aggressiveness shocked me and seemed to appear out of nowhere. The character is a damn good fighter - a realistic one, too.

Lash Canino - The Big Sleep

Frank and Nada - They Live

John Spartan - Demolition Man

"It's okay, I can fix it. All I need is a needle and thread.
[
pause] I didn't really just say that, did I? Damn!"

Dutch
- Predator

There are plenty more, as I don't have an "Ultimate" tough guy.

Jason Statham. Especially from The Transporter movies and also Crank.

Nick Cage in Con Air. He's a tough guy, but more importantly a moral citizen.

Nicholas Cage with long hair and an obnoxiously bad monotone southern accent negates all that might be tough of his character.

This gets a mention ONLY due to Dicaprio finally proving that he is capable of playing a tough character. For me, this is the toughest character he has ever played. And played well, i should add. Ladies

Léon for me, one of the greates films ever
