Goosebumps vs. Are You Afraid of the Dark?

I see these two 90s TV series (gateway horror vehicles) compared to each other quite a bit. To me, there's a clear superior choice here, but I'm curious as to what you guys think.

Well, I'm pretty heavily one-sided on this little skirmish. I think Goosebumps is a far superior (gateway horror vehicle) show than Are You Afraid of the Dark? The main reason being, the Goosebumps episodes (most if not all) have that dark twist ending where everything doesn't all work out. I freakin' LOVE that. The Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes (most if not all) end like an episode of Ghost Whisperer (happy and cheerful, and with less boobage). Now, AYAOTD's heart is in the right place, and I love the setup for each episode - it's very atmospheric. I think the whole kid's joining together to tell scary stories is a brilliant way to do an anthology series, but, its content is rather toothless, even for a kid's show.
