What was the last DVD you bought and why?

⬆️ Arrival very good. So is the first Sicario. Did not care for Sicario 2.

Watched Arrival back in 2016, never rewatched. I'm curious how it will be experience it again.

I enjoyed it more the 2nd time around. (Huge Amy Adams fan.)

I already forgot when I last bought a DVD, I need to renew this tradition.

It was so long ago I forgot. But it may have been Gone to Earth. It is an oldie with David Farrar, he ws in Black Narcissus and Jennifer Jones.

The great thing about buying disks is that a lot of them are so cheap. My latest was a set of a dozen WW II movies, including From Here to Eternity, Fury and Anzio, bought for 12 bucks. I like watching movies on disk sometimes. There's some completely psychological comfort in being off-line, even though that seems stupid, and, they're cheap enough to be an inconsequential purchase.

No, sill sealed. I'm not big on remakes. Haven't seen the new IT.

oh okay and same here always prefer the originals better. new IT is not that good like its okay but tim curry is always my favorite as pennywise

Tarsem's The Fall. It's neither streaming nor on VOD for some reason, so it was buy the DVD or never see it.

I've been curious about this one for a while and there was only one copy left at Walmart so I said, "What the heck?" and grabbed it.
