Robert De Niro movie

I've been told about a movie with Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson, where the former tells the latter "I'm just as black as you are." What movie is this? Because I'm still trying to figure it out. And I've seen several Robert De Niro movies.

Those two starred together in Jackie Brown, but De Niro never speaks that line in it.

Pretty sure Jackie Brown and Goodfellas are the only two films they've both been in (according to IMDB, at least), so it's got to be one of them.

Samuel L. Jackson is only in Goodfellas for a brief time. (I only remember the one scene.) I'm sure this guy's friend was talking about Jackie Brown, and just imagined the line, or conflated it with another. They interact a lot in Jackie Brown.

I didn't remember hearing the line in Jackie Brown; it just seemed like the only possibility.

Yeah, that's definitely the most likely explanation.

I found this through a Google search. There's a similar quote in the movie Big Stan, but it's not said by either Robert De Niro or Samuel Jackson.
