I have a relatives wedding to attend tomorrow and then I have a long weekend because where I work at is closed on the 31st, so I don't know my plans fo the whole weekend.

Tomorrow I will go to a resort and has some kind of office party over there. Actually it's called family day since you can bring your spouse and children. We'll stay for 1 night and going back on Sunday. The place only around 2 hours from the office. Should be a good chance for relaxing.

I've got a tape full of Buster Keaton films/shorts awaiting me. So, I'll probably finish that off and then possible watch either Chinatown or Anatomy Of A Murder(I got all ofthis stuff off of TCM. I love that channel more than it should be legal to love a television channel.).

Would you happen to have The Cameraman on that tape? That was the first work of Keaton's I saw and remains one of my favorites.

Yeah. I got it on the first tape. TCM had a whole day devoted to him during summer under the stars last summer and I taped as much of it as I could. I have about 7-9 hours of Keaton on tape now.I've watched the whole first tape and I'm about a half of the way through the second tape(Our Hospitality is up next.).

That's strange because The Cameraman was also my first Keaton movie(I saw it long before this marathon. I'm guessing in 2005 is when I first saw it.) and I immediatly became interested in his work following that film. It's a really good film(perhaps his only good MGM film)and has a sort of charm to it that really makes it easy to get into.

Eventually I want to invest in the Kino box set of Keaton(I'm waiting on a good Deep Discounts DVD sale and sufficent funds in the bank.)because I could easily see it being worth the money.Keaton is perhaps my favorite silent film stars and the man doesn't get mentioned enough when people talk about the greats.

MY god my weekend is boring. It shall consist of:

BORING STUFF:
Washing my bed sheets
Applying bed sheets to freshly made bed
Cleaning out fish bowl (Madam Mim and Iargo have made it very dirty)
Sorting out a new hard drive for Doris, my beautiful mac
Writing 5 features, quiz page, comp page and game review for a kids mag (might kill me)
Building a clothing rail
Taking down Christmas Tree (We're lazy)

FUN STUFF
Drinks in Soho Sat night
Drinks and Atonement tonight
Playing Bioshock
Sleeping
Shnuggling
Eating

I was going to say that I would like to post more, but I'm too tired. I thought the nick-name above mine was bluefanny.

I will be gardening a lot tomorrow, and off to my friend's house on Sunday.

Well, that didn't last long. I never even layed down.

Friday we had a home made curry and watched Night at the museam and then big brother.

Saturday just chilled and watched red eye on tv with MORE curry lol
