Your To-Be-Seen List

Tools

At the moment I really, really, really want to see No Country For Old Men, but won't be able to until January 19th. I also really, really, really want to see There Will Be Blood, but won't be able to until February 15th.

I'm angry like the Hulk.

Aye boy don't spit in my drink!
The only movie that came out last year that I missed, but really wanted to see was I'm Not There. There are a few movies coming out in the next few months I'm really looking forward to as well:

Vantage Point, that trailer has been attached to the last five or six movies I caught in the mulitplex and I cannot get tired of it. The cast is great and the story seems somewhat intriguing. It really just looks like a lot of fun.

Cloverfield, the fact that they're keeping the monster a secret is really neat to me and got me more excited about the movie than I would've been otherwise. I also like the handycam work I saw in the trailer, though I'm not sure if I could handle a whole movie's worth. We'll find out.

Redbelt, written and directed by one of my favorite filmmakers, David Mamet. I've been looking forward to it for a long time mostly because it sounds like a 90's action movie, except with the Mamet factor. The film's about a mixed martial arts trainer who because of some untold event of enormous magnitude is forced by the less than accommodating circumstances into competing in a prize bout.

Righteous Kill
, it stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino... need I say more?

I'd love to see Juno since I have read a lot of positive reviews about it.

Thursday Next's Avatar
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
There Will Be Blood (USA)
Juno (USA)
Sweeney Todd (USA)
4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (Romania)
Persepolis (France)
My blueberry nights (USA)
I'm looking forward to these upcoming films...not that I will get to see them all until they come out on dvd, probably...

E-wall, Narnia: Prince Caspian, Juno as of the moment.

Ironman is probably number one on my list...

Let me add those superhero flicks: The Dark Knight and Ironman. I am excited to see those films.

No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood

Haha. That's an interesting mix, what is Urotsukidoji doin on thar?

I can strike these ones off my previous list:

Spring in a Small Town
The Peace Hotel
Final Victory
In the Realm of Passion
The Stunt Woman
The Yakuza
Elevator to the Gallows

Jubilee

Meanwhile my Netflix queue just keeps growing. I'm up to 400 something, last I checked.

A few that I wrote down to add to it earlier today:

Shakespeare Wallah, Red River, The Passenger, The Party, Lost in Beijing, The Old Dark House, New Year Sacrifice, 8 Women, L'Avventura (those last two at the urging of a coworker).

1. American Gangster (I still haven't seen it, and that makes me angry.)
2. Reservoir Dogs (Hopefully can strike it off the list later on tonight.)

And not really a whole lot more at the moment, although I do look forward to Sin City 2, whenever it may come out here.
