I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
What are the films at the top of your to-be-seen list? It could be something coming out soon or something old that you just haven't got around to watching yet?

My current top ten (in no particular order):

1. The Man Who Fell To Earth
2. The Prestige
3. A Mighty Heart
4. Paris Je T'Aime
5. Venus
6. Control
7. Quadrophenia
8. Kiss of the Spiderwoman
9. The Passion of Joan of Arc
10. A Taste of Honey

So, list yours, cross them off when you've seen them, comment on others' lists (Man I can't believe you haven't seen..../Don't bother with.../Move X to the top of your list, etc.)

Well I have a few that we rented yesterday, we watched half of one then I fell asleep. Not from bordom, just exhaustion. So;

1. The War Within (2005, Joseph Castelo) >watching tonight
2. Big Fish (2003, Tim Burton) > watching tonight
3. Manderlay (2005, Lars von Trier) > watching tomorrow
4. Withnail & I (1987, Bruce Robinson) > having trouble finding it
5. Barton Fink (1991, J & E Coen) > has been rented the last 3 times I've looked for it.
6. Brazil (1985, Terry Gilliam) > having trouble finding it
7. The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie (1972, Luis Buñuel) >having trouble finding it
8. The Queen (2006, Stephen Frears)
9. Run Lola Run (1998, Tom Tykwer)
10. Weird Science (1985, John Hughes)
11. Weekend at Bernie's (1989, Ted Kotcheff) > lol I just have to see it...

Coming releases:

Stephen King's The Mist (Frank Darabont > The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) - I can't wait since Darabont is super at directing SK's movies)

4. Withnail & I (1987, Bruce Robinson) > having trouble finding it
I am surprised at that, it seems to be in every dvd sale I have ever been to (usually cheaper than what I paid for it, which always annoys me!). I hope you do find it, it is one which must be seen!

I can't believe you still haven't seen Christopher Nolan's showstopper yet, Thursday Next! Just buy it as quickly as you can and watch it! Honestly, just watch it. Forget what the critics on this board say, it's a fantastic film.

Anyways, to my 'To-Be-Seen List:

The Dark Knight - Anticipating this one the most. I've never been so desperate for a teaser trailer in my entire life!

Hitman -I'm not even that big of a fan of the game but Timothy Olyphant is an intriguing actor, so i'm waiting for this to be released.

Transformers - I admit to being very sceptical about this film. Not only did I not care for a live action adaptation, but the thought of Michael friggin' Bay directing this just didn't excite me. HOWEVER, I have read for great reviews on this film and even my favourite magazine Total Film gave it ****. Even detractors of Bay have said it's easily the best film he'll ever do so I shall be seeing this on Friday.

A Way Of Life - This came out about 2 or 3 years ago and not many people have heard of it. I read a small review in Total Film and I heard it was pretty good. It's from a director who my mum used to go to school with so that adds to the compelliness to watch it. Considered a sort of prelude to This Is England.

London to Brighton - Again, i've heard nothing but outstanding reviews for this film, so I will be buying this sometime next week.

Errrr, that's it really. Not looking to much else..

OH, how can I forget about The Bourne Ultimatum. It'll be my first time watching a Bourne film in the cinema.

Rescue Dawn
Eagle Vs Shark
Black Sheep
13 Tzameti
The Valet
This is England
