Will this breathe life into a long-dormant franchise, or has it been too long to boot up The Matrix once again?

It's a good trailer, and I think that as long as we temper our expectations a bit, this could at least be entertaining. That said, if it is injected with a bunch of heavy-handed political messaging, I will not be pleased...

Yeah. My expectation is the story will be lame but it'll have a few really cool action set pieces. I'm going into it with that expectation and figure I'm unlikely to be disappointed.

I will be seeing it! I will just show up for the special effects extravaganza, as I learned to ignore the half-baked philosophy in these flicks somewhere around the 1 hour mark of the second film.
