Superhero movie where someone's crushed by a giant hammer with drills

I vaguely remember seeing a single scene of a movie about ten years ago, and I have no clue what movie it came from. It was probably science fiction or a superhero action movie.
Near the end of the film, this guy is being crushed by a giant hammer or something controlled by some other guy and he's holding it up, and two drills come out of the side of the hammer and almost go through the guy being crushed, but it's stopped at the last moment. Does anyone know what film this came from?

Sounds like the sort of brinksmanship crap that happens in 007 movies. Don't suppose one of the characters was called Bond by any chance?

I think it was early 2000s. Definitely not 80s or before that. And it was before 2008.
