Bresson - Where do I start?

Tools

I've not seen any Robert Bresson. I need to change this.

Where do I start? I'm not especially after his most accessible film first or anything, just a movie of his to gently ease me into his style and themes.

Or do I just try and watch them in release order?

Thanks for any tips.

A Man Escaped or The Wind Blows, Where it Wills
Un condamné à mort s'est échappé ou Le vent souffle où il veut 1956

(A true story of the events at Montluc prison occupied by the Germans during WWII, presented as it really happened by director Robert Bresson.)
First five bucket rating this year..
+ Please notice the music, it tells a story as well, thought it was quite genius by Bresson.

I would start with Mouchette and then go on to Au hasard Balthazar and A Man Escaped.

With Mouchette you get a very good feeling with the tone and sentiment of Bressons filmmaking, while it might not be his best film, its still characterized by his ascetic way of filmmaking.
