A normal man? For me, a normal man is one who turns his head to see a beautiful woman's bottom. The point is not just to turn your head. There are five or six reasons. And he is glad to find people who are like him, his equals. That's why he likes crowded beaches, football, the bar downtown...

The Godfather is really well-made, though I never have the desire to revisit it. Same with Deliverance.

Solaris is way up there. So is Cries and Whispers.

Other notables include:
Don't Torture a Duckling
Images
Vampire Circus
The Other
Season of the Witch
The Harder They Come
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx

Vampire Circus is easily my absolute favorite film from this year. I find it fun and endlessly rewatchable.

Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes [Aguirre: The Wrath of God] (1972)
Még kér a nép [Red Psalm] (1972)
Obrazy starého sveta [Pictures of the Old World] (1972)
