In the words of Comic Book Guy:

"Worst. Cosmic. Wars. Ever. I will only see it 3 more times... today"

With the amount of times you've seen Young Guns, I'm surprised it hasn't made $10 billion yet.

Final total $1.4 billion.

Only The Phantom Menace made over 1 billion dollars worldwide.

There's no way VII will make 10 billion.

$600-700 million worldwide in its opening weekend.

$2 or even 3 billion all time, thinking very positively. But not 10 billion.

But I'm also getting psychic interference saying that the movie might bomb (for Star Wars) -- still make a lot of money, but not as much as hoped -- while, at the same time, critical reviews of the movie will be very positive (as opposed to negative reviews for the prequels).

"Hey Look it's Masterman"
1 Billion top.

I am no good with money so I cannot make a prediction based on actual figures but I do think that Episode VII (any idea when we will get a working title by the way?) will do better than Episode 1 if only because of the original cast members being involved, I think a lot of audience members still have a lot of connection with them and still a lot of hatred for the cast from Ep 1 - 3.

A loving heart is the truest wisdom.
I'm thinking it'll make at least 1.5 billion worldwide. Between fans demanding sequels for about 30 years now, the original trio coming back, Lucas not having final say on anything, and a huge marketing campaign and I'd be pretty surprised if it doesn't result in at least an Avengers level payoff.

The working title is apparently The Ancient Fear.

I saw another one a few days ago named after the theatre that Abrams first saw Star Wars but I can't remember what it was.

Well, I don't know. Maybe it works.

It could be something worse.

It will suck and it will lose money.
Suck maybe, lose money, not likely.

Even though Star Wars isn't at the height of it's popularity anymore I still predict it will make quite a bit - just considering how much many of the comic book/super hero films continue to make (I don't think I know one person who grew up in the 90s-2000s reading Iron Man or Thor comics, yet those movies still managed to gross quite a bit for example).
