Pigsnie says Zweee is a nihilist. Hummmm, did I spell that right? Anyhoo thats what he said. The bloke is a nihilist.

And you forgot to mention that I hate Bush too, TWT. Dont want to forget him, LOLL. I also REALLY dislike 2 posters on MoFo. (I leave you out for now TWT, youre too easy, hahaha! Whenever I see them on the board, my face turns red & i want to get a tattoo.

You guys are reading in to what Mark says too much. He likes black humor, so shoot him. I think that's funny, what he said about killing God or whatever, just becuase of how over the top it is. The whole point is to be cheeky. It's not meant to offend. It's meant to bring some light to these boards.
Just because it's not MEANT to offend, doesn't mean that it doesn't. Quite frankly, I've TOLD him that this stuff is out of line before, and he did it anyway. He just ignored it, and then I actually acted on my warnings to him, he decided to complain and sling hypocritical insults at me.

I could say a lot offensive things you know...even if I meant well. Zwee's old enough to know better. He was warned several times to tone it down, and instead, he turned it up. That's not defensible. No one is saying he's trying to piss us off (although let's be honest, some of his later emails were obviously meant to try to make me mad), but he was over the line. If you want to dance around the subject of whether or not he meant it all, you can, but it's really irrelevant, with all due respect, Steve.

PLite...I'm surprised at you.Saying you dislike two posters is kinda mean.Of course I think it's probably me and some other poor soul, but that's okay...I'll live Anyways,This thing about Zwee is really out of hand.Steve N. and the rest of ya can defend him all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that we all post here because we like it,and because the people here are relatively easy and fun to talk to.If you think these boards are so damn boring and that they need blatant smacks to people's faces to spice things up...then find a forum with no regaurd to anything.I for one can't tell when he's joking and when he's just being cruel.I've always thought that people who get their laughs at another's expense was a cheap way to be funny. It doesn't take a clever person to make someone look bad,but obviously, some find it amusing.

In Soviet America, you sue MPAA!
Wow. Mark sure does have all your undies in a twist!

I just think its funny how you guys are reacting to him and what your saying because it is EXACTLY how he wants you to. What he is saying is not what he believes hes just saying it to get the exact reaction you guys are giving simply because he knew youd give it! The only reason Steve and I are defending him is because we know who he really is. I think its funny that you guys were so quick to categorize him, because its what he wanted you to do from the begining. Sorry if this offends you guys(and gals) but this just shows how smart Mark is because he was able to play you guys like a game of chess!

I think I just said this earlier OG.I'm glad you all think that it's so freakin' clever he can confuse all of us into thinking he's something you say he's not...HA-Ha,my sides ache with laughter,,,how funny that is.How amusing that someone's objective is not to post about movies at all...but to play us like a game of chess. That's brilliant...make him your personal savior.

Smart? Dude, I know damn well what he's up to. He's not playing me at all...I know his stupid crap by now, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let it slide, just because he wants me to react. Just because he's faking it, it doesn't mean he hasn't made himself look completely foolish. I swear, he's acting like a child here. If you think that for some reason making stupid-a** points under the pretense that he's just messing around makes him smart, well, that's your problem. A smarter person wouldn't waste his time in a place where he's not wanted. A smarter person would also find a more positive, and clever way, to get attention.

Flaming and trolling, by definition, is a stupid thing that basically anyone can do. I fail to see the intelligence in Mark's actions as a result.

Well I guess I can't really explain why I think hes smart, but I can try. He was able to make up an online personality that you all believed, and don't denie that you didn't believe it because otherwise we wouldn't be talking about this right now. He got you guys to stereotype him and categorize him within a matter of posts. If you ask me, it shows how you guys think. I'm not insulting you in the least, and if it seems that way I'm sorry. I'm not gonna deny it, me and Mark were laughing our asses off this morning in Bio when we were talking about how you guys were reacting. We've been laughing about it ever since he first started doing it. You truly can't understand where I'm coming from on this, unless you know the guy in real life. He has a great sense of humor, and this shows it. Well it shows it to me at least.

Everyone use to love Mark on this site. He made all those polls and expressed a vast knowledge of movies. Then he stopped going to the site when he wasn't allowed to curse and express his feelings openly. I agree with TWT on this, it is out of line and I don't judge him for how hes reacting, and how everyone else is, because I know it is exactly how I would react if I didn't know him in person.

I don't know if this is an apology for what Mark is doing(afterall I am the reason hes at this site) or if its a defense of Mark. If you knew Mark you'd be laughing too. Another question, just out of curiousity. What do you guys think Mark looks like?? Just wondering.

This whole deal reminds me of when I play Counter-Strike online. Theres so many people that play, but it comes down to three types of people. The good people(like me ), the newbies who suck, and the cheaters. These cheaters piss everyone off. No one likes them when they're playing because they ruin the game, it becomes unfun when someone does something that pisses everyone off. Then one day I was at a friends house, and a few of my friends that play CS downloaded some cheats and were cheating themselves. They pissed off everyone in the server, yet they were laughing their asses off. They knew what they were doing pissed off people, yet they did it because they thought it was funny. They went back to playing honestly later. So basically I'm trying to say just because he's doing this doesn't mean hes a bad guy, an angry teen, or any of the other thoughts you may have about him. He was a good poster before, and now you judge him, yet hes the same person.

Whats so mean about dislikin people? No one likes everybody! (And you are not one of the two, TWT! so cheer up, hahaha!) Anyhoo, I know for a fact that a couple of peeps here dont like me either so THERE! I got no problem with that. [PLite throws himself upon the ground & weeps copious tears/]

Zweees hair is spiky like a forest. Sometimes a bird builds a nest in the forest. He looks like eminem execpt his shirt is covered with pizza. He has a sneer like billy idol. He carrys a teddy bear.

I don't think Zwee ruined the thread. In fact, its a lot like the other threads in MoFo . . . we've had some movie threads become pretty explosive political marathons et all . . . its all in a day of MOFO

And I picture Zwee as resembling Matthew Broderick in FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF--only mebbe not so clean cut OG looking like Keanu Reeves' Ted Logan in BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE and STeve as Sean Penn's Jeff Spicoli in FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH

I do know what you mean, Peter: it's the reason prank phone calls are still popular. It's the reason people love "Jackass" and "The Tom Green Show." P*ssing people off, or putting them on the spot somehow, or just getting a rise out of them, can be funny as hell. Believe me, even though I seem sickingly uptight, I've been there, and yeah, it's lots of fun. I guess the difference is that I wouldn't go messing with someone else's site, and I wouldn't go on any longer if it was made clear that it was over the line. That's just me, though. I've been annoyed in the past by people who can't stop messing around to be serious, so I guess I'm more likely to be sensitive to that kind of thing, and more careful not to cross the line for too long.

Whaddya expect? We're all a bunch of MoFos. Anyway, this thread may get back on track, and it may not. As much as threads going WAY off topic and thereby spoiling an otherwise cool discussion, I've got to allow free-reign to change the subject. It'd be a lot less fun if we had strict rules here on the content of each specific thread, IMO.

These are, by no means, in any order. I wouldn't say that they are, either, the top 10 best of all time, although they are 10 of my favorite.

"Smoke" (1995) Wayne Wang. Crafty, Altman-style plot weaving, punctuated by fine performances from William Hurt, Harvey Keitel, Forest Whitaker, et al. It's sequel, "Blue in the Face", is entertaining but pales in comparison to its predecessor. I love the cameos from Jim Jarmusch and Lou Reed.

"Reservoir Dogs" (1992) Quentin Tarantino. In-your face, blackly comedic crime drama. Shocking violence you can't turn away from.

"Do the Right Thing" (1989) Spike Lee. Racially and politically tense drama, sprinkled with fresh humor. Standout performances from Danny Aiello and Ossie Davis. Samuel L. Jackson holds the movie seamlessly together as the local dj.

"Barton Fink" (1991) Joel and Ethan Coen. Multilayered murder mystery centering around a disillusioned old-hollywood writer. Exquisitely filled with symbolism, hidden meanings and plot twists.

"The Cement Garden" (1993) Andrew Birkin. Disturbing and surprisingly humorous account of a VERY dysfunctional family. Shockingly believable performances.

"Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" (1988) Pedro Almodovar. Madcap, estrogen-driven comedy from Spain. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

"Citizen Kane" (1941) Orson Welles' timeless monument to filmmaking. This one makes my list on sheer aesthetic merit.

"Harold and Maude" (1971) Hal Ashby. Classic, black comedy about love, life and death. This film ought to be experienced at least once.

"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975) Milos Forman. Brilliantly acted, thought-provoking, poignant story of human nature and class struggle. Ken Kesey's book is by far superior, but the film in itself is a modern masterpiece.

"Orlando" (1992 ) Sally Potter. Glorious, visually stunning adaptation of Virginia Woolf's classic yarn of gender and immortality. Tilda Swinton is flawless in her portrayal of the similarities between women and men.

It was SUPER TOUGH to cut the list to 10.
I worked long and hard on my list and it got lost in a sea of flames! *pouts*

Haha, Mark's not like Ferris Bueller at all. He acts really uptight, and then out of nowhere he hits you with a barrage of sick and hilarious humor, and it's great. Peter looks like Batman from the old Batman cartoons. I look like...I don't know who I look like. I guess I look like Spicoli. I'm a pot head. Word. I wear big pink sunglasses to school.

sades, you seem especially bent out of shape. And to think, all this started with were comments about Braveheart. Which still sucks.

I like your list bodhigirl. Props for adding Do the Right Thing.

Well it was,"...no you're not. You're totally ordinary...and you know it."That's Wes Bently's character talking to Mena Suvari's in American Beauty. Now my quote is from Will Ferril on Saturday Night Live...he was a nude model for an art class and he says that to the artists...so funny...LOL.
