Cait, I KNEW it!! I jumped back in to add it because I just knew I would hear about it from you if I didn't...Although I love the film, it barely makes my list, as there is just so much great stuff in the 90's...Also, Many of my favorite films just missed the cut by a year, as they were made in 2000 (Solaris, Mulholland Drive).

Oh I don't know, this is a job better suited for Holden, the man with the western knowledge, but I found it to have brilliant direction, top notch acting on all parts, and it was the perfect deconstruction of the archetype Eastwood had built up throughout his career.

love it....

Arresting your development
Top o' the mornin to ya!
I read through this thread and admire the choices of movies that all of the posters have selected. I have a new blinky twitched eye respect for all of you. (Only if you could see my 'citement!) I giggled like a little girl (for proper context, please realize I’m a very large girl.) So I find myself in cinema bliss and I am glad to be part of this virtual movie MOFO forum community. Thanks for havin' me.

Anyway, anyhow, my favorites of the 1990's consist of;
Pulp Fiction
Boondock Saints
Fight Club

Here are some magic rocks and wear your safe color because I now return you to your previously scheduled -cinematic- wankfest.
