Most Memorable Film Death - Possible Spoilerz

I was reading one of PLite's posts on Sean Connery's kilt in THE UNTOUCHABLES---actually his long "drawn out" death where he manages to do everything but his dry cleaning before he goes to the great police station in the sky . . . and mebbe it would be a cool idea to start a thread on that . . .

Not necessarily a plausible/realistic death--but certainly a film "death" we remember.

Mine would be Rutger Hauer's death (as the Replicant Batty) in Blade Runner
I've seen things... seen things you little people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion bright as magnesium... I rode on the back decks of a blinker and watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. . . all those moments... they'll be gone.

HAY, you beat me to this thread, DARN!!

Hummmm, other good bloddy deaths!

Toshiro mifunes arrowy death in THRONE of BLood. I wanted to cry also when old Yohei was fatally struck in Seven samurai. He looked so surprised!

Tim Roth in ROB ROY. Woooh, that broadsword just about cut Tim in two & he fell in slow motion, COOL!

John hurt in ALIEN. Nuff said.
Pazzis bowel drop in HANNIBAL. Ridley scott is so good at killing people. Ray Liottas brain scene is great too but I dont know if I actually saw him die.

The fatal fall of the villein in the white suit & bad teeth in UNTOUCHABLES. Costner had a great line when someone asked him where the guy was. He said, Hes in the car. hahaha!

Almost everyone in EVENT Horizon.

Lady Kaede in RAN. Huge red splat on the wall, WOW!

The teacher in Final DESTINATION. She took forever. Cup drips into computer & then its like she gets stabbed in the neck by computer bits, stagger stagger stagger, slips on her blood, falls down on a bunch of kitchen knives, gets a big one through the chest, then slips to the floor & then a chair falls & rams in knife for good measure. Dont know why they didnt tangle her hair in cup o ramen & cut her legs off with a cake mixer, hahaha!!

Apollo Creed gettin beat to death by Ivan Drago.

The dude in Platoon who gets left behind and shot to death while they leave in the chopper. That was pretty memorable.

Maybe you have ADD.

I ain't gettin' in no fryer!
LOL...

Russell Crowe's death in Gladiator.

Michael Clarke Duncan's in The Green Mile. As well as what's his face...the one where Percie didn't soak the sponge.

Wilson, in Cast Away...

Brad Pitt's in Fight Club...technically he died..

Magua's death in last of the mohicans.

In so many movies they make the "final battle" long and drawn out. I always love it when the guy just gets whipped, like Magua does.

Short fights are more realistic anyways.

I was going to say the Final Destination one too - when I saw it I actually said to my mate that it was the most innovative death I've ever seen.

Also Commando:

"Remember when I said I was going to kill you last?"
"That's right Matrix, you did!"
"I lied."

"Let off some steam, Bennet!"

What about Mr. Han in Enter the Dragon?

They actually shot that death sequence backwards. If you listen to the commentary during that scene they're talking about it.

Ah yes, Sgt. Elias, aka Willem Defoe. With Barber's Adagio for Strings in G playing - very memorable.

MovieForums Extra
I'll second Apollo Creed in Rocky 3 (I think it was)

And I'll add Sunny's death in The Godfather.

THats by far my favorite. She deserved it.

I also liked Toishiros death in Throne of Blood, arrows all over.

Steve Buscemis death in Fargo, axe to the head, then stuffed into the woodchipper.

I don't think he died...he just went to jail, and perhaps got the chair letter...but probably not.
why would he get the chair? I would give him maybe 1 - 2 months in jail for killing someone but it's justifiable! Your wife's head was just sent to you in a box and the guy is right there begging to be shot. The same guy who made terribly gruesome murders (6). Anyone would have done that. I wouldn't have even let Spacey finish his little speech.

Sorry to stray away from the topic. I guess it's for me American Beauty, j/k LOL. Seriously, I' have to say Reservoir Dogs.

Also with threads like this, you may open it up and read it and theres a movie you were planning on seeing. I know there's a spoiler warning but are you expected to skip through what everyone writes? Just my 2 cents.

This post was all over the place

Somebody dies in reservor dogs? I never seen reservoir dogs!! I am very upset, heehee.
