Hidalgo

Saw the trailer for this the other night and thought it looked pretty interesting… it’s based on the true story of Frank T. Hopkins, the first American to enter the Ocean of Fire… a grueling 3,000 mile survival race across the Arabian desert. Hopkins, a one time U.S. Cavalry dispatch rider was at one time billed the greatest rider in America… stars Viggo Mortensen (yes Annie… ), Omar Sharif, and Timothy Dalton…anyone else interested in this one…

Very Interesting~~

I had to watch the trailer again before taking back the tape.

It just said the movie was coming out this spring. They didn't give a date.

It's scheduled to be released on March 5th, 2004.

Didn't see it.
My wife is sure excited about this one. I don't know if it is the story or the star.

It looks like it has potential.

Heheh...I just saw Hidalgo Caity. I still have Viggo's face fresh in my mind.

It was well done and I really enjoyed it, but I don't think it will become a classic like Raiders of the lost Arc. There are parts I guess they could have delve deeper into, and a few things that were a little unbelievable...but as an entertaining, warm hearted, rooting for the under dog (on many levels and haunting past issues) type of movie...it's very satisfying.

All in all.......I was a very happy woman watching this.

When are you going to see it Caity?

Calling Officer Caity...Calling Officer Caity...

We have prying, whining woman in progress....

...you're needed at once at <insert nearest cinema to Officer Caity> to see Hidalgo.

Lets put a smile on that block
