History of Film: An Odyssey
I'm halfway through and what an annoying documentary! It only makes me realize how many films I still have to see. And I'm saying this having seen ~50% of the films shown in this so far. The first two episodes were the best thing ever, but then it went a little bit downhill, with one of the episodes (6th?) literally showing various movie scenes for 1h with not-too-interesting commentary. I like how it shows cinema from all around the world, but it's still missing some bits and doesn't elaborate enough on other. It makes it feel incomplete. I wish it was 100 hours long, so maybe it would've been sufficient then.

Banlieu 13. Seen it before. Comedy combined with a series of rather impressive (parcours- inspired) fight scenes. The French may often come off as arrogant, but they pulled this one off rather well.
