I don't know why you think you need to impress us by watching/liking the "greats."
Personally I'm more impressed with people who show some originality in their tastes and movie-watching tendencies. But if you feel the need to use a list to guide you, I suggest the MoFo Top 100 (2010) and the MoFo Top 100 of the Millennium.
We're in the process of making the MoFo Top 100 of the Nineties, which you can join in on once you've been a member for a month.
