Unlike everybody else, it's really a tough call for me, especially seeing I nominated The Best Years of Our Lives. But yes, Cuckoo's Nest is probably better. I'd say the directing of The Best Years may be a tad bit better, but the overall acting of Cuckoo's is enough to take the vote for me.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off and A History of Violence are tied with 6 votes each. This is definitely an interesting battle.

I've got to watch this The Warriors, like, maybe tonight. Never even heard of it until now. Contempt is a singular film for me, and there is certainly no film on this list that will be anything like it. Also have to see The Best Years of Our Lives and A History of Violence, but otherwise I'm really close on this one. (this is not a vote, just self musings)
