They still have their shallow and infamously non-diverse voting pool and sometimes glaringly odd nominee categories (Baz Luhrmann's Elvis is a drama, not a musical), but it is back as a live event. Thanks to @Holden Pike for this thread as I didn't watch and forgot to read about who won. The speech from Ke Huy Quan kind of choked me up a bit. I hope he gets more work after this win. Sometimes that happens, sometimes not.

Best moments of the night were Eddie Murphy's Will Smith joke, and the acceptance speeches by actors like Ke Huy Quan, Michelle Yeoh, and Austin Butler.

Worse moments of the night were two words: Jerrod Carmichael.

Terrible host. Not funny. No charisma. They should bring Ricky Gervais back.
