Hi everybody,
I'm looking for an American or Canadian movie released in the 2000's, probably between 2005 and 2010 (or maybe in 2011 or 2012, but I don't think so). It's a crime/thriller movie.
This it what I remember:
- the main character is a professor of creative writing at a university
- he's a pretty young man (in his thirties)
- I don't know if he teaches how to write a crime novel or a screenplay, but I think it's more about a screenplay
- he finds himself accused of a crime or a serie of crimes that he didn't commit
- there's a scene at the university where he's chased by the police
- it's a university with very modern buildings
- this university isn't in the countryside, rather in a city
- the story must take place in the north of United States, the landscapes are typical of states like Washington or Oregon, but it could also take place in New England or Canada (in Vancouver, for example).
All those elements can make you think of "Murder 101", a made-for-television film from 1991 with Pierce Brosnan (good movie, by the way), but I'm absolutely sure it isn't the one I am looking for.
