do you Sim?

in the spirit of listing communities/things you participate in (ie, the myspace thread), do you play the Sims?

In particular, what version do you play, and do you have a SimPage, and how complex/involved is your SimPlaying? ehehhe ...

i got involved with the BustinOut PS2 version, then went and bought the Sims2 PC bits ... tend to play it more for perversion and building homes than actually playing out the full lives of my characters ...

i went through a big sim playing phase, hours and hours of gaming but then i gave it up as friends and family began to worry

Undercoverlovers 100 REDUX

I used to love The Sims. Especially at uni, i could lose a few days when i really go involved. But then my PC became weak and feeble and the power of THE SIMS was too strong so it died.

But NOW, im playing The Movies. Have any of you played this? thmilin? You really really should. Was thinking of making a thread on it. Its just like the Sims, but its kind of like Theme PArk as well. You Build your own movie studio in the 1920's and progress through movie history making and editing, and directing and writing and releasing your own films! Its so awsome!

Anyone played it? I highly reccomend.

blibb, i got an advanced notice ad for The Movies via ebgames and pre-ordered it. installed it as soon as i got it - and it nearly killed my computer (blue screens of death and confusion). uninstalled it; not sure I want to reinstall it and risk actual death.

funny "my PC became weak and feeble and the power of THE SIMS was too strong so it died" - and ironically, The Movies apparently did this to me wittle T41 Thinkpad. WAAAH!

uh no, the sims is totally gay. never played a more boring game in my entire life. OMG!

Used to be a massive fan of the Sims series but I've dropped off lately. I have other things to do.

And to be honest, The Movies was a big let-down. Who would've thought making movies could be so frustrating?

I just got The Movies yesterday and I love it so far. Still havent learned all the ropes and havent attempted on making a movie on my own yet.

anyhoo, iroquois, i've heard similar things about the frustration of the game and reviews talk about how it's like two split games versus one.

i'm still curious to try it out though ... eventually.

I'm more used to something like 3D Movie Maker which was just about the moviemaking. I don't want to run a movie studio...

then again, maybe they could make an expansion pack about porno movies.

I used to Sim (1) but I haven't indulged for a long while. Most of PC related activity is taken up by Football Manager 2006

hey, I'd treat it as a serious job like the people on Boogie Nights did. Besides, I could never get my kind of films made in such a controlled environment.

Yes, I sim every day. I don't sim as often as I used to and it's not as much fun but I still sim.

Hey, I posted about this topic a really long time ago (a few years ago actually)!
And I still Sim, I haven't gotten Sims 2 yet, but I have all the expansion packs.

Santa never brought me Sims 2 and i really wanted it, im having to make do with Sim Petz that ive had for a while
