R.I.P., Bert I. Gordon

Legendary B-movie director. I've only seen Earth Vs. The Spider, but it's cheesy and corny in the best way possible. The effects are actually pretty good considering the budget though.

He also made films like The Amazing Colossal Man, Tormented, Empire of the Ants, The Food of the Gods, Necromancy and Village of the Giants. All of which I've got to see at some point. The last movie he directed was Secrets of a Psychopath, which came after a 26 year long break.

Bert taught us that film doesn't have to be a high art to be special. Sometimes you just want to have fun, which he loved providing for his audience.

From best to worst, I have seen Tormented, The Amazing Colossal Man, The Cyclops, The Magic Sword, War of the Colossal Beast, Earth Vs. the Spider and King Dinosaur.
