Compartment No. 6

Tools

Synopsis: "As a train weaves its way up to the arctic circle, two strangers share a journey that will change their perspective on life."

Really meditative and contemplative film this one. In the mould of a Nuri Bilge Ceylan perhaps but with a touch of Richard Linklater, Lost in Translation and maybe some Kieslowski influence.

What stands out though is the last 10 minutes, as it has one of the loveliest pay-offs I've seen in a film for a long time.

7.9/10

Will keep an eye out for this. Looks very good.
