The Hunt (Jagten) is a winner. It’s actually pretty grim too but a darn good film.

Then there’s The Celebration (Festen), A Royal Affair (En kongelig affære), R. and a few others.

I don’t watch much Danish television shows, but Borgen should be good and I’ve watched a bit of Broen and it seemed good too.
Thanks for the recommendations, MM and J-C. I watched all of Broen, and also Frobrydelsen. I'll check out Borgen, although I may have some of it. Cheers!

Welcome to the human race...
So I've been trying to pick and I've been reminded of this open question I posed about the "mixed bag" category so I'm just bringing it back so I can get people's takes on it...

Another category I invented and surprise surprise, most of my picks didn't make it. How did you all decide on your picks anyway? My main criteria was that it had to have a
but the kind that's equal parts good and bad instead of just boringly mediocre. This does raise an interesting question - one of my picks (which would be a 2.5 movie) is a finalist, but I like at least three of the movies on the list even more so would I be more justified in picking them or should I stick to the one that I feel the most "mixed" about? On a similar note, I also picked actual Best Movie nominees Hereditary and The Favourite but I don't think that means I have to pick them for Best Picture.

Suspect's Reviews

Updated first page. At 11 lists. Low turn out in nominations and votes it seems.
Maybe get @Yoda to put up a banner and stuff on the front page?

This thing would be best with a lot of people....

And maybe someone make a template that’s easy to fill out? I know I was very lazy to get around sending my votes because there were so many categories. It took a long time to fill out, Maybe if there was a template with all the categories and nominees just listed black on white no bullsh*t it would be easier and more likely for people to quickly get there votes in?

Makes sense. I did that last year where people could just copy the text and bold their choice. I believe @Holden Pike was the one complaining about it.

If this thing happens next year the person should be definitely doing that.

Also, not the first time someone has mentioned that there are too many categories.

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
You’re awesome, @CosmicRunaway !

NOW THERE’S NO EXCUSES, PEOPLE!!! GET VOTING!

I'd vote, but I can't because I've only seen two of the movies that were nominated.
