2025 MoFo Fantasy Baseball: The Season

Since I went offense the first 10 rounds I was resolved in not getting an SP1, but the New York Mets tabbed my 18th round draft pick Clay Holmes to be their opening day starter. Is their pitching that bad?!

No. Clay Holmes has been that good in spring training. In his three starts, he hasn’t allowed an earned run over 9-2/3 innings. He earned the opening day starter job.

Royce Lewis is my first to go down, strained hammy. Ill use Paredes as my 3B and hopefully Spencer Torkelson will continue his spring into the regular season. Darn.

With all the old guys on my roster its
23 year old Jared Jones who has elbow discomfort. Whats alarming part is hes already had imaging done, and is seeking a second opinion. That means its serious, possibly T.J. serious.

If anyone has a 1B or 3B to offer on a trade I could be interested.

Considering how popular baseball is in Japan, it makes sense to stage some games there against their best teams (I guess? I Don’t keep up with their teams)to drum up publicity. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if The Dodgers and/or Cubs use this as an excuse to scout some of the foreign talent and maybe poach them.
Might not get a Ohtani type but May get someone almost as good.

It turns out Skenes girlfriend, Livy Dunne, was also in the pic and thus was the real reason for the high amount

4 more days. Im gonna start with 2 maybe 3 on the IL - Jared Jones, Royce Lewis, and maybe/either Scherzer or Robles. Could be worse.
