I"m not gonna make a recommendation for Jackie Gleason, but Brad Garrett gave an impressive performance in a made-for-TV movie Gleason (2002).



He had all of Jackie's mannerisms down and gave a great impression.
Unfortunately, Brad Garrett is just SO tall (6' 8 3/4") that his height was hard to ignore compared to Jackie's average height & to that of the co-stars in the bio-pic. Garrett's height also made it harder to make him look like he had Jackie's girth.
