Brothers Farm, take over for Family

Mid 90s to early 2000s.
Set in american southwest

Two brothers take over farm, possibly after parents die.

They are terrible at it.

Make adobe bricks, and their windmill breaks and washes the bricks away / melts them.

They have a donkey.

Overall I remember it being a terrible movie, but we talk about having watched it alot.

Brothers Keeper has brothers and a farm but I dont know about the rest

These ones were in their 20s-30s.

The donkeys get sick I remember that.

Mom thinks that it was named after 2 people or called something windmill

And the donkey dies and they drop it into a well?
