It's a god-awful small affair, To the girl with, the mousy hair, But her mummy is yelling "No", and her daddy has told her to go, But her friend is nowhere to be seen, Now she walks through her sunken dream, To the seat with the clearest view, And she's hooked to the silver screen, But the film is a saddening bore, For she's lived it ten times or more...



So far...

1) "HERO". A true David Lean esque Epic, my favourit film since "City of God".

2) "LOST IN TRANSLATION". Though flawed, Sofia Coppola delivers.

3) "KILL BILL VOLUME 1". I'm a huge Tarantino fan, and though I was a little disapointed, it still stands out in 2003.

4) "AMERICAN SPLENDER" Very funny, and imaginative.

5) "21 GRAMS" Wow, in the cinematography department. Naomi Watts better win the Oscar.

I have not seen many of the Holywood films as of yet, ie Cold Mountain, LOTR, Master and Commander, Mystic River... though knowing me, this list will stand regardless.
