Really though, best site on the web.
Pfffffft, I know better sites. All two of them.

Third place is high praise from you, especially considering this is a site full of normies!

Oh, hmmm. That's a lot trickier! I actually don't feel I know your taste very well. I recall being surprised by your reactions to films a handful of times over the years.

More to the point, I'm not sure what you've seen or haven't seen. Based just on your favorites, for some reason McCabe & Mrs. Miller came to mind.

Huge fan of Julie Christie, but this movie has never appealed.

Thanks for participating!

Wow, what a total putdown of Yoda's recommendation skills.

I changed my mind. This site sucks!

Yoda is the man! That's for sure and MoFo is the best site on the internet! I've said that about a million times since joining but I truly mean it. That's why I try to help out and show team spirit whenever I can as Yoda has made us feel like we're part of a community. So yes, a big shout out to Yoda
I read all the many posts since I began this thread. Can I be lazy & just use Citizen’s post that sums up everything very nicely?

MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oops, ran back here this evening because I did not tag @Yoda. Duh.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain
I've participated in forums of several types, such as for marketing (search engine optimization) and web development. They burned brightly, then the original drivers left -- had to go earn a living, got burned out, or simply lost interest. On Facebook, every time I've found an interesting movie group, if it becomes successful it quickly becomes too large and there are no meaningful conversations when the number of replies hits 200 the first day of posting. And everything is overwhelmed with AI spam, or trolls.

So it's been a joy to rediscover Movie Forums as a space where rational discussion can happen and it's not polluted with irrelevant spam. Hats off to @Yoda indeed! The longevity and quality of the forum is unrivaled in my experience. Bravo! And thanks!

Happy Holidays and (selfishly) wishing many more years of success.

I'm also wondering why "Yoda's" hands in the new cartoon avatar look like holly leaves rather than hands. If memory serves, I believe Yoda's hands looked kind of like lizard hands (or little alligator hands) with three fingers and large nails (claws).
