All good people are asleep and dreaming.
Sadly, The Valley 6 Drive In closed.

The manager Kieth Kiehl, passed away after battling with cancer.

Here is a link, Valley 6 Drive in theatre

It's not a drive-in, but if you're in London between August 8th and 21st, there's bound to be something here that'll whet your appetite.

There is one in Ocala which is near me. Four bucks and I could see both Monsters University and Man of Steel. That sounds kind of fun.

There used to be, but a tornado took it out. I used to go there all the time as a kid.

The Bib-iest of Nickels
There isn't a drive-in theater near me, which I don't know whether is good or bad, there's something about watching a movie inside of an actual theater that I really enjoy.

We have a drive in movie theater here in Oak Harbor, WA. Unfortunately, it doesn't get fully dark outside until almost 10:00pm during the summer months. If you want to watch a twin bill, plan to sleep in the next morning.

There's a new one in downtown Ft Worth, TX. We're having an insanely cool summer, hovering right around 100 most of the time. Now would be the time to go.

We have a couple where I live. I would like them more if there weren't a bunch of idiots who always have their trunk wide open, blocking half the screen.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
All the ones I used to go to have been turned into strip malls, apartments or hospitals. There are some away from the city but I don't go there. I've probably seen 200-300 movies at the drive-in though, back in the day. Some of the films I saw for the first time at the drive-in were American Grafitti, The Exorcist, The Sting and Chinatown.

We've got one about an hour away.

Love going to a few on warm summer nights.

We've also got a pretty cool outdoor amphitheater where they show free movies about 30 minutes away. Always a fun time.

were there sharks involved?

Theres one nearby me in maryland if it's still open.. i've never bothered to go though. I don't even make it to the theatre anymore because I've found so much enjoyment in older films.. maybe once I watch the hundreds of queued movies i will make it out once again

Yes! I have one around fifteen or twenty minutes from my house. I don't think it's close to closing down, considering just around a week ago they had to continuously shoo away people because they were far too packed. But, Despicable Me 2 was playing, and that movie has one of the most aggressive ad campaigns I've ever seen.

I haven't been there in a while, but I've watched some of my favorite movies there for the first time, including The Dark Knight, and Toy Story 3, so I definitely have a few great memories there; it's always nice to watch a good film outside. They also have yearly horror film showings in October, they always show all of the quintessential old horror movies, and others, so maybe I'll have to go see a few this fall.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
Theres one nearby where I live, and one nearby where my girl lives. I have had good times at both. Haven't gone to one yet this summer, but I hope that I can change that. I am imagining Wolverine will be a fun Drive-In experience.
