Ultimate cliched story

Ever played that game with a group of people, where everyone writes a line of story and it all forms a one, probably in school?
Well i thought it would be interesting to try this but incorporating every cliche, i hope it hasnt been done before. Try to keep it coherent and maintain writing to about a 5 line maximum. Its completely individual but try not to steer into a particular genre, just go through them.

One day a young niave lawyer wakes up to fight a really big case against a huge corporation, with all the odds against him.............



After rushing around and getting ready, he drinks his last gulp of coffee and heads towards the elevator in his fancy apartment.

When the elevator doors open, he stops and stares with a look of shock.......

The doors did not open to the elevator but to a never-ending hallway. The lawyer rubbed his eyes in disbelief, assuming it was just a dream - but one which he was unable to wake up from. The hall was echoey, there were noises in the distance... it seemed strangely familiar...
