2. The Beatles - Within You Without You (Indian)
3. The Byrds - Eight Miles High (Indian)
4. Led Zeppelin- Kashmir (Arabic)
5. Dick Dale - Misirlou (Eastern Mediterranean)
6. Grateful Dead - Blues for Allah/ Sand Castles and Glass Camels / Unusual Occurrences in the Desert (Middle Eastern)
7. The Who - Baba O'Riley (Middle Eastern)

It was actually composed by a Celtic violin player but it's definitely not Celtic. I'm not absolutely sure where it's from but middle eastern/egyptian is my best guess.

It boggles my mind that Michael Jackson has never won one of these awards.

He was only nominated for Video of the Year 3 times.

He was nominated for Thriller in 1984 but lost it to You Might Think by The Cars. That's insane. The most popular music video of all time did not win. MTV's voters were definitely on crack.

He was also nominated for Leave Me Alone in 1989 but lost it to Neil Young's This Note's for You. That's unacceptable. Who still remembers that video from Young??

He was nominated along with his sister Janet for Scream in 1995 but lost it to TLC's Waterfalls. Waterfalls was a great video but compared to the groundbreaking visuals of Scream.... come on!

Those were his only nominations. Three over the course of 3 decades of producing some of the most amazing music videos.

No nomination for Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Smooth Criminal, Black or White, Remember the Time???

The artist who revolutionized MTV and the music video never won Video of the Year!
