The unheralded american classic, Bring me the Head of Dobbie Gillis

For some reason, I was sure this was an animated film. Really enjoyed it, actually. Pretty deep analysis of artistic motivation. That said, the trope of men helping women to destroy their own art ‘for the good of their soul’ is revolting. One thing I liked about Hereditary is that it didn’t go there.
