"Luck don't live out here."
I don't really do full reviews anymore (I just post a few sentences about each film on Letterboxd), but I do still enjoy doing lists. So I'll post one here every now and then.

⬆️ I loved Apollo 11 though I very much doubt if I would place it #1 on my non-existent list of 2019 movies.

Your bottom 10 so far are more surprising to me than the top 10. I thought Good Boys was considerably better than Stuber, though neither was spectacular. I'd also watch Escape Room 5 more times before I watch Alita again haha

NASA films are basically a drug to me. :P

I'm also a huge fan of documentaries that feature restored film, so you combine those two things with the fact that it's the best space mission (Apollo 11), and it's basically the perfect storm for me. I don't expect anyone else to have this as their #1, and really I don't expect most people to have it in their top 10.

None of the three are great films. I laughed quite a bit in Stuber, while I was bored for 90% of the runtime in Good Boys. I just enjoyed Alita for what it is. This list is a BIG work in progress. I don't think I've seen the best the year has to offer yet by a long shot, and things will probably look quite a bit different by my next update.

Right, it’s amazing what they did & that the footage was lost for so long.
