in order to see 9 opening day, I promised my sister that i would go to this, as well as pay for both of us

I used to adore these, but i turned completely on them

The cousins I took to see Twilight hit me up to take them to see this too... and I'm half way looking forward to it... we had a lot of fun the first time and I'm a little curious to see the Volturi...

Lol of course but teenage vampire shows don't have to be pitiful to be eye candy, just take Buffy the Vampire Slayer for example.. witty and attractive.

.. caters to all there wants and needs, makes them weak at the knees. Tall dark boys, rubbish romance and a story that no intelligent person could tolerate for more then 10 mins.

My Twilight crazy cousin bought me the soundtrack... and it's actually pretty cool. I especially like the songs Meet Me on the Equinox by Death Cab for Cutie, Done All Wrong by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Hearing Damage by Thom Yorke...

Movie watcher the women in your life are preparing you well for marriage. I still like vampire movies but vegan vampires are pointless. Pun intended.

I won't lie, these movies are not geared to a male demographic, that's cool. Though these movies do validate my belief that all of the rabble rousing that most women do about "idealized beauty," and the big, bad media telling us what to like, only applies to Baywatch and swimsuit calendars. Nyah, nyah you're shallow too.

Loved the books, tolerated the movie. My fifth graders, boys and girls, all filled out a ticket for a raffle I had for three Twilight posters from my daughter's J-14 magazine.

Boys like vampires and werewolves, too, they're just quieter about it.
