I was uncomfortablke s well. That porny music combined with harry trying to look sexy while he sleeps and then the kissing started. My god he has the worst screen kiss style. I think it was actually Sean Young who said he kissed like a toad.

Well, fun fact
Harrison wasn't a fan of Ms Young at all apparently, so he shoved her pretty damn hard into that wall. She was so pissed off, and it's her genuine reaction you see in the final cut! She's not the only one to claim he was difficult or moody during shooting though.
And I'm gay, and even I have to admit he doesn't hold a candle to her in the looks department in this scene, she was utterly gorgeous in this film.

Still, I'm quite jealous she got to kiss 1982 Harrison Ford

She was exquisite. Whatever happened to her? I cant remember the last movie I saw her in.

Harry looks like my ex so I really dont like him LOL.

This might just do nobody any good.

Went crazy, tried to kill Tim Burton.

I think I'm remembering that wrong.

Late 70s/early 80s Ford belong in the Men of Our Dreams discussion.

I just looked up her filmography. She's been in a heap of stuff, especially ltely.

She was blacklisted essentially, and she can't/won't accept her responsibility in it. So she's doing indie films now as she has a rep for being too difficult.

I've heard rumors and documentation about Young and Ford's off-screen distaste, as well. Sean Young also apparently had a tiff with James Woods on the set of The Boost.

She says Woods made advances at her and reacted poorly to her rejection. He says she stalked him and then he tried to sue her.

Hey, with millions of dollars flying around and everyone stroking your ego, all the while blowing really top shelf coke, why not just hire a professional and leave cab fare on the night table? Avoid the press.

They settled it out of court I believe, Woods covered her legal costs as well? Something like that.

I dunno, a lot of people deemed her difficult, but it looks like she was genuinely mistreated at least some of the time as well.

I need to see this movie before the sequel comes out and I end up liking the sequel more.

I won't dance. Don't ask me...
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe: Attack ships on fire off the Shoulders of Orion... I watched C-Beams glittering in the dark near the Tennhouser Gate... All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain"[/quote]

Classic. It's astounding Rutger Hauer improwised and made the monolog up, during making the scene.

Why was she blacklisted? Did she really try to kill Burton?

Still, I would choose Harrison (in every movie)
This movie makes me think of his potential. Even though he was in some great movies he never quite had a role up to this caliber instead he chose to star in a bunch of mediocre movies

This thread reminds me how bad I need a rewatch. I can't pinpoint if I just like or love this movie so I hope another watch will help.

Rutger was another beauty in that movie.
