I counted The LOTR trilogy as one movie so I'd give it to Kurosawa for having more "great movies" than Jackson.

Though I daresay I've gotten more out of the LOTR trilogy than I have from Kurosawa's films (sorry, but a lot of us are thinking it), Jackson just doesn't have enough to his name other than that. Gotta go with Kurosawa.

As brilliant as Kurosawa's films are, I got to go with a personal choice.
