Movie You're Watching Tonight

Saint Maud (2020)

I’m no fan of jump scares, and I wouldn’t call this a scare, anyways, but
WARNING: spoilers below
minute 74 is just... wow.
Hat off.

Palm Springs (2020)

@Takoma11, I’m thinking about your review from a few months back.
Minute 11 so far. Lord, this is ridiculous.
But I really like Cristin, so - whatever.

I will be interested in your take when you finish. I thought it was a great summer movie. And I felt as if it's pivot into more serious themes was pulled off really well.

Planning to watch "Army of the Dead".

Palm Springs (2020)
I bailed out fairly quickly.

I thought it was okay. Not quite my genre but watchable. I liked the female lead, remember her from The Wolf of Wall Street.
Good movie. I’ve seen her in one or two things.

I thought they had incredible chemistry. I’ll give it that. You wanted them to stay together and that’s pretty rare for me. Also loved the learning quantum physics moment. Still thinking about it, something definitely missing and ending inconclusive, but glad I watched it.

I'll finish Thor and then I think I'll check out either La Grande Illusion or another episode of Breaking Bad. Depends on what time it is.
okey good
