Outside of Bond, one film I really liked of his was The Molly Maguires. Early 70’s film. Well done.
Does anyone think that Connery never had a good one after his first 3
I agree that Connery's performance got worse toward the end, but I wouldn't say he only has 3 good films.
Thunderball was weighed down by extraneous underwater scenes which slowed the pace, but I wouldn't call it bad.
You Only Live Twice was the point where Connery got burnt out, and his performance started to be come disinterested, but it still has many of the elements of a good Bond film (locales, lair, villains, directing, humor, etc)
But his 2 films after that were trainwrecks.
Connery ranking: GF > DN > FRWL & YOLT > TB > DAF > NSNA
