70's or 80's Scifi question

Hello all,
This is my first post!
I am looking for the name of a 70's or 80's Scifi movie.
It was about a ship that was going to another planet, that had a adult captain who died. All the rest of the crew were kids who would live long enough to make it back to earth.

This ring any bells?

Dammit! I'm sure I've seen some of this film. I can't come up with a title, sorry, but I'm sure that someone here will. If it helps anyone else, I certainly remember it as a mid 70's-early 80's film.

I found it!

And it was, Earth Star Voyager



I had thought it was a made for TV Disney movie. And a seach for Made for TV movies came up with it!

And Oh, it was a late 80's movie

Really?! I wonder if it's the same one I'm thinking of then. TBH, I'm not likely to have seen a late 80's Disney film. Actually, I'm not that likely to have seen many Disney films as they're not really my thing.

Now I'd like to find it on DVD.
