R.I.P. Clu Gulager

Damn. I'll second that Return of the Living Dead mention. Plus small but memorable roles like The Last Picture Show and The Hidden.

RIP Mr. Gulager.

I remember him in The Killers, playing Lee Marvin's partner in assassination.
Also as the lover of both mother and daughter in The Last Picture Show, The Hidden, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, and Feast. But my favorite role of his was in Return of the Living Dead where, after chopping up a zombie that was still wiggling around in a sack, tried to convince his crematorium friend that he wanted him to burn "rabid weasels" for him.

Godspeed, Clu.

I remember seeing Julia Marchese's documentary Out of Print and at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, Clu would be one of the regulars there..he was so popular there that they reserved his seat at the theater because he always sat in the same spot. They should keep his seat empty for his spirit to live on in that theater! RIP Clu Gulager..
