Oh man, just last year I discovered A Boy and His Dog. What a film. RIP.

R.I.P.

Obviously his Peckinpah roles are the highlight, but I quite like his supporting role in Lone Wolf McQuade, one of Chuck Norris' best movies.

Loved L.Q. Jones. Sad to hear this. I loved him in the Peckinpah movies, where he was often teamed up with another great, Strother Martin. Loved him in The Wild Bunch, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, and Ride the High Country. And like @Rockatansky I really grooved on his part in Lone Wolf McQuade and thought he stole the movie while he was onscreen. Just a great presence in anything he did. Godspeed, L.Q.!
