Monsieur Cinéma's movie lists

"How tall is King Kong ?"
Pierre Tchernia was... well, what was he exactly... a popular french producer, scriptwriter, journalist, and tv game host, and other stuff. He was a little celebrity, nicknamed "monsieur cinéma" after hosting a quiz show for cinephiles that I never saw. Let's just say he was a bit of a legend in french medias.

Anyway. In the late 80s early 90s, Pierre Tchernia and Jean-Claude Romer published together a series of 14 nice books on cinemas, presenting 80 films each, one per page, with pictures, summaries, technical notes, etc. Each book was focused on a genre (western, war movies, etc), and were a delight to explore.

Unfortunately, I have only four of them. And I cannot find the table of content of the remaining ones. Still, I've made custom lists out of three of these books :

Because I think they make good overviews of their respective genres throughout the century.

So, for those who are interested, here are Pierre Tchernia's 80 grands succès du... :

https://www.movieforums.com/lists/custom/286 <= Cinéma Policier Américain (American Crime Movies)

I didn't make a list on the fourth book, as it's about french comedies, and I doubt there's a huge interest in them around here. But if anyone wishes me to, just tell me and I'll gladly take the time.

And of course, if anyone stumbles upon the table of contents of the remaining books, I'd also gladly add these.

Nice work. I just checked what I've seen on all three.
